Effective date: October 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tax Alert Pro website at taxalertpro.com and the Tax Alert Pro reminder application (together, the “Service”), provided by Tax Alert Pro (“Tax Alert Pro”, “we”, “us”, “our”). The application is developed and maintained by Webrun Group Inc.
By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent (“you”, “your”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these Terms.
The Service is a business service for accounting firms and similar professionals. You must be at least 18 and have authority to accept these Terms for your business.
Tax Alert Pro sends automatic email and text message (SMS) reminders to you, your team and your clients before filing and payment deadlines, based on the client information and settings you give us. We help set up your client list and reminder settings during your setup call.
Tax Alert Pro is a reminder tool, not a tax, accounting or legal service. You remain responsible for your clients’ filings, payments and deadlines, for checking that due dates are correct for each client, and for meeting your professional obligations. Reminders support your work but do not replace your own deadline tracking.
We may offer a free trial, which starts on the day your reminders go live. If you entered payment details when signing up, your paid subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. We may change or end trial offers for new sign-ups at any time.
You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@taxalertpro.com or through your billing portal, if available. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and reminders continue until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law.
You own your data, including your clients’ information. You give us permission to use it only to provide, support and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can change or remove your clients’ information at any time, including at the end of your subscription. When your subscription ends, we stop sending reminders and archive any remaining records. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
We work to send every reminder on time, but email and text messages depend on carriers, email providers and other networks we do not control. Messages can be delayed, filtered as spam or not delivered, for example because of an incorrect address or number. We are not responsible for missed deadlines, penalties or interest that result from a reminder that was not sent, received or acted on.
We aim to keep the Service available and working, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces the Service you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
The Service, including its software, design, text and the Tax Alert Pro name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business during your subscription. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
The Service uses third-party services such as Google, Amazon Web Services, Twilio and Stripe, and our website may link to other websites. Their own terms and policies apply to their services, and we are not responsible for them.
Except as stated in these Terms, and to the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law:
You agree to compensate us for any claims, losses and reasonable costs that result from your breach of these Terms, the information you provide, or messages sent to your clients at your direction, including any claim that you did not have the right or consent to have those messages sent.
We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, do not pay, or use the Service in a way that could harm us, your clients or others. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including sections 7, 8 and 10 to 17, will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, email subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order or plan details you accept, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
